Autumn means back to college – the new semesters start and due to that a lot of shops display the topic “college styles”, “back to school” etc… So did ASOS and I got me some inspiration from their “Campus Style” page.
Even if I have my college degree since ten years and my student days are over I really like the style we all know from US TV series.
College looks for me are at first one thing: comfortable! I think about bomber jacket or college football team jackets and casual styles. I picked a bomber jacket with colorful patches and vintage jeans from the ASOS PLUS collection and paired those with a pink checked shirt.
The shirt and the vintage look of the jeans turn the complete outfit to the direction “new grunge” – one of the trending topics in fashion this year.
Also patches are still a thing you can´t get past this autumn and winter.
I really love this outfit as it is casual, comfy, colorful and at the same time simple and a nice basic look. An understated outfit with nice little special features.
